		<description>Science Magazine has an article about an new report by the Urban Institute studying the weaknesses of America&#039;s science and engineering (S&amp;E) infrastructure. Basically, they find that the problem is demand side, not supply side. To quote &lt;blockquote&gt;&quot;&#039;a weakening demand, a comparative decline in S&amp;E wages, and market signals to students about low relative wages in S&amp;E occupations&#039; are discouraging able Americans from pursing scientific and technical careers.&quot;&lt;/blockquote&gt;
